Auto-Glow / Reflective Band Insulating Mats
Electrical insulating mats with auto-glow or reflective bands for improved route and boundary visibility in low-light operating areas. Manufactured for IS 15652:2006 requirements under BIS Licence CM/L:8800129617, available in Class A, B and C configurations.
Product assurance & compliance

AGRIM Overview
These variants combine the insulating-mat platform with either an auto-glow band or a reflective band. The added band supports visual route marking and boundary identification where ambient lighting may be limited. The band is a visibility aid and does not provide emergency lighting; specific glow duration and brightness figures are confirmed against the current product documentation, which is available on request.
- Auto-glow band for low-light visibility
- Reflective band for visibility under incident light
- Class A, B and C options on the standard insulating-mat platform
- Anti-skid surface options retained alongside the visibility band
- Standard and project-specific configurations available

Where It's Used

Installation Guidelines
- Position the glow or reflective band along the intended escape or access route
- Cut to length from the 1.0 m wide roll, keeping the band continuous across joins
- Clean and dry the floor before laying
- For the auto-glow variant, allow the band ambient light exposure before relying on it in darkness
- For the reflective variant, align the band with the expected torch or emergency-light angle
- Site fixing can be undertaken by Bharat Electrosafe along with the material, subject to minimum criteria

Questions about AGRIM
- What standards do Auto-Glow Insulating Mats comply with?
- Our electrical insulating mats are manufactured to IS 15652:2006 under BIS Licence CM/L:8800129617. Available supporting documents include ERDA and NTH test reports. Request the current document set for the exact product and thickness required.
- What is the difference between the auto-glow and reflective variants?
- The auto-glow variant carries a band that is visible in low ambient light after exposure to normal lighting. The reflective variant returns light from incident sources such as torches or emergency lamps. Specific glow duration, brightness and performance figures are confirmed against the current product documentation, which is available on request. The band is a visibility aid and does not provide emergency lighting.
- What dimensions are available?
- Standard and custom dimensions are available. Contact our team with your specific requirements for a tailored solution.
- How do I request a quotation?
- Use our contact form, call our sales team, or send a WhatsApp message with your requirements including product, dimensions, quantity and delivery location.
- What is the lead time?
- Lead time varies based on product and quantity. Standard products ship faster; custom dimensions require additional production time. Timelines are confirmed with each quotation.
