High Voltage Electrical Insulation Mats
Electrical insulating mats manufactured for IS 15652:2006 requirements under BIS Licence CM/L:8800129617. Class A, B and C configurations cover working voltages of 3.3 kV, 11 kV and 33 kV respectively, providing an insulating standing surface for personnel working around switchgear, control panels, substations and related electrical equipment.
Product assurance & compliance

EIM Overview
Engineered to meet IS 15652:2006, these mats create a reliable insulating barrier between the operator and the floor in high-voltage environments. The elastomer compound is free from any insertion and resists water, oil and chemical exposure, while coin, dot and hexa anti-skid surfaces keep footing secure. Mats are supplied 1.0 m wide in 10 m and 20 m rolls, or cut to a length you specify, in black and blue without metallic derivatives.
- High dielectric strength — 30 kV, 45 kV and 65 kV for Classes A, B and C
- Three thickness options — 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm — to suit the working voltage
- Coin, dot and hexa anti-skid surfaces for stable footing
- Flame retardant — extinguishes within 5 seconds — and resistant to water, oil and chemicals
- ISI marking on every metre, with ERDA / NTH test documentation

Installation Guidelines
- Confirm the insulation class required for the working voltage at the installation
- Clean and dry the floor before laying the mat
- Cut to size from the 1.0 m wide roll — custom lengths are supplied to requirement
- Lay flat with no wrinkles or air pockets, butt-joining adjacent sections tightly
- Site fixing can be undertaken by Bharat Electrosafe along with the material, subject to minimum criteria
- Inspect regularly for cuts, wear or embedded conductive debris

Questions about EIM
- What standards do Electrical Insulating Mats comply with?
- Our electrical insulating mats are manufactured to IS 15652:2006 under BIS Licence CM/L:8800129617. Available supporting documents include ERDA and NTH test reports. Request the current document set for the exact product and thickness required.
- How do I select between Class A, B and C?
- Class selection is based on the maximum working voltage at the installation. Class A is rated for a 3.3 kV working voltage, Class B for 11 kV and Class C for 33 kV. Choose the class that meets or exceeds the highest voltage present at the work location. When in doubt, our technical team can recommend the appropriate class based on your substation or panel specifications.
- What dimensions are available?
- Standard and custom dimensions are available. Contact our team with your specific requirements for a tailored solution.
- How do I request a quotation?
- Use our contact form, call our sales team, or send a WhatsApp message with your requirements including product, dimensions, quantity and delivery location.
- What is the lead time?
